En el Avion / On the plane

Hola gente!!!

En este preciso momento estamos sobrevolando Japón. Son las 00:59 hrs en Taiwan, y medio dia en Mexico. El viaje esta intenso. Primero fue Mexico-LA, me toco junto a unos niños chicanos muy graciosos. No paraban de hablar un espaglish horrible. Llegamos a LA a las 12 hrs, pase muy rapido por aduana y busque donde dejar las maletas para pasear por LA. ¿Que creen? después del 911 no se puede dejar maletas para cuidarlas.

En fin, tenia que quedarme en el aeropuerto. Salí de la Terminal 2 y camine hacia la terminal TBIT. Una vez ahi me dijeron que Cathay no se acomoda hasta la noche ya que los vuelos que salen de LA son nocturnos. Me puse a vagar por la  terminal y encontré un Lounge donde tenia buffete de agua, refrescos, comida, snacks, internet y unos sillones muy cómodos. Espere ahí un buen rato, hasta que como al rededor de las 2:10 pm no sacaron. Desalojaron toda la terminal. Llegaron perros y un escuadron de policias. Yo dije pies para que los quiero y me fui a la terminal mas alejada de la TBIT.

Como a las 3 regrese y ya todo mundo estaba como si no hubiera pasado nada. Me quede en el lounge hasta las 8 de la noche. Baje a documentar y me regrese al lounge hasta las 10:20.

Pase seguridad y llegue a la sala de abordar. En mi vida había visto a tantos orientales juntos. En este momento tengo a mi lado derecho e izquierdo gente con los ojos rasgados. Muy amables todos.

Dormi ocho horas. Ya no creo poder dormir mucho mas. Lo que hizo la mayoría fue quedarse despierta y se están durmiendo ahorita. Pero yo la verdad estaba muy cansado. Así que ahora el despierto soy yo.

Hi folks!

 

Right now we I'm flying over Japan. The time is 00:59 hrs in Taiwan, and half a day in Mexico. The trip is intense. First it was Mexico-LA, I was seated next to a pair of very funny Chicano children. They kept talking a horrible spanglish. We arrived in LA at 12 hrs, I went very quickly through customs and I didn't find where to leave the luggage to get around LA. What do you think? after 911 bags can not be left in a deposit.

 

In short, I had to stay at the airport. I left walking from Terminal 2 to Terminal TBIT. Once there I was told that Cathay does not make check in until night, because all their flights departing from LA are nocturnal. I started to wander around the terminal and found a lounge where water had buffet, refreshments, meals, snacks, internet and comfortable chairs. I wait there for a while, until like around 2:10 pm a police arrive and evacuated the entire terminal. Dogs arrived and a squadron of cops. I used my survival instinct and went to the farthest end of the Airport, as far from TBIT as possible.

 

I returned to the TBIT around 3pm and I stayed in the lounge until 8 pm. I went down to Check in and I return to the lounge until 10:20.

 

I Pass security and get to the room. Never before I had seen so many oriental people together. Right now I have to my right and left people with slanted eyes. Very nice everyone.

 

Once on the plane I slept eight hours. I am no able to sleep more.
